On the set of TOOTH (2022)

TOOTH premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival (2023)

I’m an award-winning editor and filmmaker with a passion for telling heartfelt, emotionally resonant stories. Over the past 15 years, I’ve built a career that spans commercials, feature documentaries, branded content, and narrative filmmaking. I’ve honed my craft at boutique editorial houses and ad agencies, working with brands like Apple, Gatorade, and Lexus.

As a filmmaker, I’m drawn to character-driven stories with a social impact. My recent feature documentary, Desert Angel—a powerful portrait of one man’s relentless search to bring closure to families torn apart by migration—won the Jury Award for Best Documentary at the Austin Film Festival. I served as the editor on the film, collaborating closely with director Vincent DeLuca. Other recent work includes Simon Estes: A Heart and Voice, a feature documentary about the legendary opera singer, and Body Electric, a film that explores body image within the LGBTQ community.

My directorial debut, Trichster, examines the lives of people living with trichotillomania, while my follow-up, Second Assault, confronts the trauma of reporting sexual violence and the subsequent challenges survivors face. Both films have been featured on platforms like Amazon, Huffington Post, and ABC News, and are now used as educational tools on college campuses and in police training programs across the U.S.

Venturing into narrative filmmaking, my horror short TOOTH premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival and has since garnered numerous awards at over 40 festivals worldwide. I’m also actively involved in the independent film community as a programmer for the Salute Your Shorts Film Festival and the Slamdance Film Festival.

Currently, I’m in development on my first narrative feature, The Lambing—a Scottish folk horror that blends supernatural folklore with a deeply personal story of anticipatory grief.

I’ve been making films since I was a kid—back when I was recreating Britney Spears music videos in my living room and doing my best SNL impressions with my dad’s camcorder. A lot has changed since then, but my love for storytelling hasn’t. Whether I’m editing a feature documentary, directing a weird horror film, or crafting a commercial, I’m always looking for the human connection at the heart of the story.
